Abstract For writing this invited paper, I was given the title Ethnic Groups of Iran and also asked to inform reader/audience about general situation anthropology in country. Specific questions were first part paper responds those questions. The second can be best understood if at time reading reference could made site mentioned article. This has had great difficulty trying establish itself country due sensitivity political machine which times it did not really understand its topic, others sensitive information bring from rural pastoral areas center critically consider activities government.
